The Eudaixia Botanicals Story
Eudaixia Botanicals was born from a simple belief: true wellbeing is balance.
Our name comes from two ancient Greek ideals — Eudaimonia, the state of human flourishing, and Ataraxia, a calm and untroubled mind. Together, they express a life lived fully, gently, and with intention.

On Turmeric, Precisely
Curcumin — turmeric's active compound — carries four properties well established in the research: it is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, and anti-fungal. It is also, notably, an active extract, meaning it continues to work within the body over time rather than acting once and dissipating.
Our turmeric is drawn from roots across India, Nepal, and other parts of Asia. Botanists have identified some 140 distinct turmeric species, with others likely still uncatalogued. From these, our proprietary blend draws on ten — a selection refined through years of comparison and testing. The process is exacting: each 15ml bottle requires roughly 15kg of turmeric root, since any given root yields only 2 to 5 percent curcumin by weight.
It's worth noting that turmeric in its raw form contains oxalates, and excessive consumption has been linked to kidney stone formation — a limitation of the whole root that our extraction process is designed to address, since the finished serum is free of these compounds.
The result measures 24 nanometres in particle size. Every batch is sent to an independent laboratory in Australia for testing in accordance with HSA guidelines, including the standard Common Poisons Test, before release. The finished serum is classified as a Traditional Medicine by Singapore's Health Sciences Authority.

A Pursuit of Botanical Intelligence
Sathesh Roy’s journey began not in laboratories, but in quiet study — immersed in ancient manuscripts and traditional knowledge systems that spoke of nature’s profound healing intelligence. What started as curiosity evolved into a lifelong pursuit: to understand how botanical wisdom could be refined, elevated, and made relevant for the modern world.
Where Science Refines Nature
Guided by this vision, Roy dedicated himself to the study of medicinal plants, with a particular focus on turmeric — Curcuma longa. Under the mentorship of leading scientists, he explored its complexity beyond tradition, examining its molecular structure, genetic properties, and functional potential.
This pursuit led him to Switzerland, where he spent three years in advanced research, identifying the active characteristics of botanical compounds and developing methods to enhance their performance through modern science.
The Birth of Nano-Curcumin
After years of disciplined experimentation, Roy achieved a defining breakthrough: the development of a nano-curcumin serum — a refined formulation designed to improve the absorption and efficacy of turmeric at a cellular level.
First formulated in 2010, the serum underwent extensive in-house testing before being introduced internationally across the United States and beyond. Early observations revealed encouraging responses, reinforcing his belief that when nature is precisely understood, its potential can be significantly elevated.
Over time, the formulation expanded globally, reaching markets including Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East, and earning multiple international recognitions in collaboration with NYP for its innovation and scientific merit.
From Research to Purpose
Returning to Singapore, Roy continued to share his work within close communities, guided not by scale, but by impact. This commitment led to the founding of Healing Cell Pte Ltd on 8 October 2018 — a platform through which he extended his research to a wider audience.
